I've tried to make an app, which monitors the open files on remote server. I
am using WMI.
My app works great if use it to monitor WinXP/Server 2003 machines. But it
fails on 2K.
I've found on MSDN that the WMI function, which I use is not supported on
2K.
I need to monitor the opened files from network. I need the information,
presented in Shared Folders in Computer management MMC snap-in.
When I use the MMC to get the files on remote machine, it succeds. So I
guess it doen's use WMI.
Anyone knows what is used and can I use it in my app?
