Sorry for the post your correct this does not really have anything to do
with vb.net

I was looking to windows registry book to know how to read all windows
settings. etc.. from the registry with vb.net

Chris,

Just have a look at the registry class, it is so simple that in my opinion a
book is a little bit overdone..

The registry is used by every programmer while there is a lot of evaluation
of the use so I don't think a book can give you consistent information more
than your read in this class information below

For the beginning, I suggest taking a look at the documentation of the
'Microsoft.Win32.Registry' class and its methods...
