Fabrice,
I'm french,
and I would like find the screen width and height without using the screen
object.

Fabrice this is a crazy question, for what you get a crazy answer, you know
that in France is invented the meter, so use that.

When you want to do it using VBNet use the screen object and when you want
to use a non dotNet program language than you can ask it better in a WIN32
newsgroup to get an API for that.

Just my thought,

Hi Fabrice,

This has been answered before in the C# group, You can find it in my
snippets at
http://www.publicjoe.f9.co.uk/csharp/snip/snip039.html. The code is simple
so porting it to VB should be easy.

Hope this helps

I'm french,
I wouldn't consider that a problem in itself ...
I would like find the screen width and height without using the
Screen object.

Why?

Is there something /wrong/ with the Screen object that means you
/can't/ use it? Or, indeed, that /we/ shouldn't use it?

What's the reason for not usiing the 'Screen' object?

Monitor size:

'SystemInformation.PrimaryMonitorSize'
'SystemInformation.WorkingArea'
'SystemInformation.VirtualScreen'
'Screen.PrimaryScreen.Bounds'
'Screen.PrimaryScreen.WorkingArea'

When using multiple monitors:

'Screen.AllScreens'

Probably not using VB.NET - probably wants to hit the API directly with
something like GetSystemMetrics and all that malarky.
