Application State Arrays Getting Values

hi folks,

I am trying to access an application variable called "Title" (line 3
below) which stores an array i created earlier in the system. From
this two dimensional array i wish to populate a drop down / combo box
on my form also called "title"(line 4 below).

My main issue is getting the value back out of my application variable
and referencing it for my drop down list called title.

I have tried the following -

1. Dim cxt_Context As HttpContext = HttpContext.Current
2. Dim strViewArray(,) As String
3. strViewArray = cxt_Context.Application("Title")
4. Me.title.Items().Add(strViewArray(0, 1))

this is throwing an error on the line below

strViewArray = cxt_Context.Application("Title")

System.InvalidCastException: Specified cast is not valid.

can anyone help me, please.

thanks

C Graham
