Mystery Icons

I'm a newbie in web development, and am grinding my way through an
application. This is an inline application, not code-behind. (Visual
Studio 2003, VB)

I put two data grids on a form, one behind the other. In the Design View,
both of the grids have a small Exclamation mark in a red circle attached to
them. I'm assuming this is not good.

When I run the app with the option that fills out one of the grids, no
problem.
When I run it with another option, filling the other data grid, it runs
fine, but I get an exclamation mark within a yellow triangle in the
browser's status bar.

Of course I can't ask you to diagnose my problem, but can someone tell me
more about these icons, and whether there is a way to get a detailed warning
or error message these icons infer?

Thanks very much in advance.

Dave
