tablet PC and the pen

I have an application that it to be run on a tablet PC/Slate with the only
interface being the pen. The problem I am running into is that there is a
difference between using the pen and using a mouse. When a mouse is plugged
in and I click around on a datagrid all of the appropriate events are being
launched. However, when I use the pen to navigate the grid not all of the
events are fired and thus the coloring on the grid gets all out of whack.

Has anyone ever seen this type of behavior before?

I had an ex-wife that behaved like that. She acted one way
for one input tool and lied about another.

Divorce was the solution. Other than that, can't help ;-)
