Block but signal Webpage capabilities.....

One goal of my current project using the webbrowser control is to initially
block activeX controls, pop-ups, javascript, vbscript and basically anything
that isn't text or an image. But, I'd like to know that the web page
loaded (or being loaded) requests the running of javascript or the showing
of a pop-up or the loading of an activeX control so that I may alert the
user that the webpage has requested permission to perform the action and
allow the user to select which actions are allowed.

Due to the kind contributions here, I can stop activex controls from
loading. But how would I know that one tried to load so that (if the user
wishes to allow activeX controls for the webpage or site) I could reset the
webbrowser control to allow activex controls and reload the page. (This
question also goes for any other actions a browser may take aside from
displaying text, frames, tables and graphics.)

Thanks so much for your help. Perhaps I can add a little something to the
freeware browser for coders.....
