Q: ComponentOne for .NET

Hi

I've installed the "free" ComponentOne software in the VB Resource Kit,
however, I don't seem to be able to see any of the items in the ToolBox e.g.
Chart. I can run the example files but don't know hot to drop a Chart, for
example, onto a form. Does anybody know how to do this?

Thanks in advance

You need to manually add the components to your tool box.

Right click on the toolbox, choose Add Tab - name the tab anything you
like.

Expand the tab, right click again, add component. Select the .NET tab,
select Browse. Find the ComponentOne installation directory and install all
the DLLs.

FYI

I've noticed my registration code doesn't take unless I've added at least
one control to the toolbox. (In others words, the nag screen would continue
to appears even after I entered a registration code.)

Try XYGraph from http://www.componentxtra.com. No nag screen and
registration code in the free version.
