VB and Fingerprint Reader

Hello people,

I'm currently dev. a application under VB.NET and i would like to use the
microsoft Fingerprint Reader for the login of this app.
so i whant stock the information (from the reader) direcly in my own DB

if you know a litlle bit about it or if you know a url just reply ;-p

It's made by Digital Persona and I heard that they have an sdk, also heard
that it wasn't cheap. Their site lists SDKs but not specifically for the MS
branded model. In fact their press release implies that the MS unit isn't
dev-supported:

"In addition to working with Microsoft Corp. to provide consumers with a
convenient password solution, DigitalPersona offers products for businesses
and the developer community to make user authentication secure and
convenient. *These products work exclusively with DigitalPersona's U.are.U
Fingerprint Readers* ..."

It is a neat toy (not the most trustworthy or secure, again that's just what
I hear) so if you get more information on the support they might offer for
the MS product it would be great if you would post it for others to learn
from.
