transparent control & z-order (bug?)

I created a program that loads bob powell's transparent control onto a form.
I load 3 of them each with their own color and partly over each other.

when i now set the zorder by using bringtofront at runtime by using buttons
on the screen nothing happens.

when i change the bringtofront in setchildindex (object,0) 'front
something happens with the zorder of these 3 elements but not what you would
expect. when i bring element 2 to the front, number 1 is actually in front
and behind it number 2.....

Has anybody experienced this kind of problems with transparent controls???
