I'm looking for a few additional volunteers to help with preliminary review
of a new book I'm writing on Visual Basic 2005.
You will be asked to read about 25 chapters (each 25-35 pages) and to
respond to them within a few days of their posting (that is a very demanding
requirement). I'm looking for feedback on issues such as "does this make
sense" and "does this cover the topic" rahter than punctuation and grammar.
Note: I've already posted the first four chapters, but while you should read
all of them, you need only respond to chapter 4 (the others are already
submitted).
The ideal reviewer will be a VB6 programmer with little or no .NET
experience, but who wants to learn Visual Basic 2005 to develop either
Windows or Web applications. You must have Visual Basic 2005 (Whidbey Beta
1) to do this work. You will also need SQL Server, either Express or the
full edition and Visual Studio 2005.

and review the chapters quickly and (c) what experience you have as a VB6
programmer and what .NET experience you already have.

the book. All who make a significant contribution will receive an
acknowledgement in the book and will receive a copy of the book on
publication.
