Earlier i posted the query regarding to this same problem
and i got some replies from them,i tried those ways also
but i didn't reach my output.
What my actual problem is...i have one web site.I want to
provide a registration key for the user after finished
regisration.User registration information and registered
key information will me maintained in the database of the
website.Each user have a seperate registration key.
The registered user have an ability to download the
software.
If the user downloads the software then at the
installation time i want to ask the registered key,to
check that key with the database.If the registered key is
correct then the installation will continue.
If the registered key is correct then i want to ask his
first name and company name.
I want exactly like the above.I tried using setup factory
5.0,but in that we must enter one key i.e a constant key
for all installation,but i want to check that key with the
database.
So what i have to done ,is there any solution for that
If any one knows the solution please.. let me know,this is
very urgent for me.Thanks in advance.
I tried it in another way,directly installing from a
webpage(ASP page) using
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-
us;232077
but i got an error like that
"your currently settings prohibit running Activex Controls
on this page,As a result the page may not displayed
correctely."
