archive

Is there an archive of these messages?

I posted a question early this year and received a very helpful reply, but
I'm ashamed to say I seem to have overwritten the file where I stored the
answer. Is there any way I can get back to my question or is it simpler to
ask it again?

Thanks for any help.

Fantastic!

Thanks for a very helpful and swift reply.

Is this a microsoft archive or is it something which users in Germany have
set up unofficially?

What exactly do you mean with "unofficially"?

Microsoft AFAIK doesn't archive messages posted to the Microsoft public
newsgroups which are older than "n days". The Google Groups archive
(formerly DejaNews) archives all posts posted to selected groups.

There is an interface in English available for Google Groups too:
