Server Manager Shared Directories

Am using VB.NET 2003.

I would like to take a sharename (UNC Path) that may or may not be on
the local machine, and determine the local path of the share. I know
there is some way it can be done since the old Server Manager
application with NT4 could do just that. You would first set your
computer to the appropriate computer then click on the Shared
Directories menu item. Any ideas?
