Connect to remote Database from desktop

Hi

I developed one website in ASP and i am developing desktop
application in VB.Both MS-Access databases(website and
desktop) are maintained on the website,then how can i
connect to the remote Access database from my VB(desktop)
application.Is it possible with the Access database or is
it possible with the SQL server.
If it possible then how can i do?
please suggest me the way or any URLs related to that.

You can't connect to remote Access databases since Access does not have a
TCP daemon.

To connect to SQL server, use Enterprise Manager (bundled with SQL server)
or a 3rd party tool.

Mamatha,

In addition to Lucas, you cannot direct access a msAccess database using the
Internet, however an alternative is a webservice.
