Crystal Reports .NET and Full Version of Crystal

Hi all,

This is sort of an off topic post, but since many of you have used CR I
thought I'll ask here.

Does anyone know the difference between the bundled version of CR and the
"full" version they sell?

I called Business Objects and they said the full version only includes 1
instance of technical support and a users guide. However, I recall reading
on Usenet someone mentioned there were performance limitations to the
bundled version?

In anycase, is there any version of CR that performances increased
performance?

Thanks.

Hi Lucas,

the cr.net based on CR8.5(with some new features) and it have no
ActivX-Control for applikations to change the report at runtime.

We were using Version 8.5 professional prior to using Visual Studio .NET.

Now (using .NET) we imported our existing reports into .NET and use them
within the .NET enviornment where you can continue to use the Crystal Report
through
CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine

Ah thanks for the info.

Do you know which version of CR has load balancing? And do you know how
much the load balancing version starts at?

I'm just wondering if it's worth upgrading... but getting straight answers
from Business Objects is a bit tough ; )
