thank you Nate,
Unfortunately it did not help, I am targeting Netscape 6.x and 7.2
essentially the latest netscape... Also this information seems to relate to
Netscape under a flavor of Unix environment whereas I am targeting Windows
Environment...
Any other would be appreciated...
SJ.

This link was all I could find (from 2002 it appears):

"By default, netscape uses the /home/user/.netscape/cache directory to
temporarily hold documents gleaned from web browsing"

news:eQ**************@TK2MSFTNGP09.phx.gbl... Hello,
I am writting a utility program to clean diskspace used by Web Browsers,
I can clean up Internet Explorer's temp folder.
but I also want to clean up Netscape (any version, but Current 7.2
version preferrably) does anyone know where Netscape store its Cache, or
Temp Folder? and History?
and also how about AOL's Browser cache?
I am developping the Clean up software using VB .NET 2003
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you,
SJ
