Are icons ( other than company logo icons or product icons) , like the ones
used on toolbars of various applications copyrighted?

Hi,

Depends on the icon. There are some free ones that come with visual
studio. There are located here by default C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual
Studio .NET 2003\Common7\Graphics\icons

I was in doubt, are icons copyrigted and which one, a simple icon is so easy
to make with Visual Studio Net..

There are companies that sell icon and they are copyrighted. Yes a
icon is simple to make.

I am sure the visual studio icon is copyrighted. But icons that are used to
denote "Bring to Front", "Send to Back".. are they copyrighted?
