Excel version

Hi,

I am developing an application in vb.net that uses an Excel spreadsheet as
my backend. When I tested it one of the spreadsheets would not allow
editing. It would allow additions and deletions. However other spreadsheets
would allow editing, additions and deletions. I am not sure, but it is
possible that the spreadsheet I was using was created in a different Office
version from the one that I have been using. My problem is that my users are
going to be getting spreadsheets from different clients all over the US and I
need to know how to make editions to the spreadsheet uniformly no matter what
version of Excel the spreadsheet was created in. I am using a OLEDBAdapter.
I have made references to Office 9 and Office 10 and Excel in my program. Do
you have any suggestions of what I can do to solve this?
