WindowsService?

I had a similar question the other day with regard to a regular win app,
and the answer was negative. I hope this is possible at least with window
service.

Is it possible to prevent terminating a windows service (and how). E.g. a
user tries to kill (terminate) the window service (its process) in the
Windows
Task Manager and the service refuses to be killed. One such example is the
System Idle Process that cannot be terminated, so I would like to know if
similar thing can be done with VB.NET (or any .NET language).

Thanks,
