Want to learn something else? Although you may be accessing it through a Web
browser, it's not really a "site." It's a USENET newsgroup.

I stand corrected

Being a newsgroup you can also access it by other means, specifically a news
reader. Outlook Express is one such program that you most likely have on
your machine. You just set up a news account with msnews.microsoft.com as
the server and bang! you have access to all the microsoft.public.* groups. I
highly recommend doing this because, plain and simple, Microsoft's Web-based
newsreader sucks. They've been improving it, but it just doesn't (and
probably never will) match the performance and ease-of-use of a full-blown
newsreader.

Tom
Wow, thanks. I've been using the microsoft website to access this newsgroup
and have been unhappy with how it works. I am now using the Outlook
newsreader and it is much better.
Thanks
Tom

I set-up the news reader in Outlook but when I tried to respond to this post I got this error

Do you mean Outlook EXPRESS or do you really mean Outlook? Outlook is NOT a
news reader.
