VB6 App using DDE hangs when Shelled from VB .Net App

We have a VB 6 app which opens a DDE Link to another application.
All runs fine under VB6 debugger and as a compiled app.

We Shell/Process.Start this VB6 app from an VB .Net app with WaitForExit.
The DDE Link never establishes if the .Net app is active. When the .Net app
is stopped in the debugger, the spawned VB6 app immediately estabishes its
link.

Any ideas on why DDE Link wont work?

Thanks in advance.

I'm still trying to resolve this and time is getting critical. Does anyone
have suggestions. Thanks very much.

You're asking in the wrong place. This is a DOTNET newsgroup. Try this
