Fail to install vs.net 2003

[Agnes]

I had setup prereqvisites, and then install vs.net 2003 disk1.
after I click "Install" it prompts "Unable to locate sitsetup.dll".
I am fail to install vs.net , Do I need to re-install my PC ?

my PC OS is win xP professional and I didn't install any VS.net version
before in that PC

Did you turn off all virus scanners/system securtiy apps before starting
setup?

Oh, I didn't shut down antivirus. I will try it again.
Btw, if another PC got an old version vs.net , Do I need to remove it and
then install the new version one ? or just install the new one ?

You can install the new version, but this will not remove the old
version. VS.NET 2002 and 2003 can be installed on the same machine.

You can just install. The various frameworks and Visual Studios can
co-exist without a problem (so far anyway.)
