Web Applications newsgroup?

Is there a newsgroup dedicated to web application written in VB.Net?

Or is this the best place to ask questions related to web apps?

There is an ASP.NET group:

microsoft.public.dotnet.framework.aspnet

Although there is not a group restricted to just web apps in VB.NET, between
this group and the aspnet group, you should be able to get good responses to
your questions.

Hi Herfried,

I think it is needed to redirect everybody with a question which has
slightly to do with an API to
microsoft.public.win32.programmer* (a lot of newsgroups)

for drawings or whatever image to
microsoft.public.framework.drawing

for WMI to
microsoft.public.dotnet.general

And because all VB.net questions have to do with the framework the rest to
microsoft.public.dotnet.framework

Or can you give a reason why someone has to go with his vb.net question to
a group who has the name microsoft.public.dotnet.framework.apnet

The only developper newsgroups "I" know that is possible an alternative for
vb.net questions about webform applications is
microsoft.public.de.german.dotnet.entwickler.asp

However that is not an aspnet newsgroup.

Hi Terry,
microsoft.public.dotnet.framework.aspnet

Why?

And reinvest the question first before you answer?

Hi Martin,

For using VB.net and VS net, is in my opinion this newsgroup.

However when it is scripting ASPX VB.net it is mostly done in the newsgroup

microsoft.public.dotnet.framework.aspnet.

I go as well for the advises from Peter and Ken.

I know its not dedicated to VB.NET, however, its the closest thing to it.

LOL -- As I said several times, that depends on the type of problem. If
it's related to ASP.NET technology, then the question should be posted
to the ASP.NET group, if the OP's problem is related to the VB.NET
programming language (even if he/she is using it for ASP.NET) this group
is the right place.

However that is not an aspnet newsgroup.

It actually is an ASP.NET "only" group, but it's for German language
questions.
