Com port communication

Hi,

I need to use Serial communicatie with VB.net (2003)
I find in the Microsoft Visual Basic .NET Resource kit a
Sax.net Communications Community Edition for serial communication.

Can I use this for only for a few(30 ) day's or unlimited?

Are ther other way's for Serial cummunication in VB.net for free?

Thx
