Menu Control anomaly

I teach VB.Net at a local community college.

Upon adding a menu control to a form, the menu will not appear on the form
upon compiling/running.

I am unable to reproduce the behavior on my home installation---all is fine
there... ??

Any ideas?

Hi Grumpy,

I had that once as well, I thought it had than to do with the resx file.

It is annoying however it happened only once.

Select the menu in the component tray that is placed on bottom of the
Windows Forms editor.

Sorry, can you be more specific?

The menu does, indeed, appear in the component tray, but still may not
appear on the form.

"Select" means................. ?

Clicking on it. It's only visible in the designer if you clicked it in
the component tray.

Ohhhhhhhh....

Thank you for your RAPID response. That behavior is somewhat obscure, but,
there we have it.

Thanks so much...It is much appreciated.
