Subclassing error

Hi all

I posted this under IE and am reposting here in the hope that you can help! I maintain a system that subclasses IE browser when run. This has been working perfectly but recently one of the user gets the following message when trying to use it

Dwsbc36.Subclass.6 already exists in the Licenses collection

Looking at the call stack, the subclass function is being called twice, where the license is added. Unfortunately, I can't make the code change to check to see if it exists or not as this would involve our clients having to test the new cab on their enviroments for some time with all the various implementations that they have.

The same system works perfectly well on other machines. The same network, same IE instance etc. I suspect the enviromental change and the only thing that the user is aware of is virus definition updates and windows updates.

The OS is Windows 2000, IE version 6.02 with various service packs applied. App is written in VB

Can anyone shed some light as to what is causing the code to try and subclass the browser twice?
