How do I obtain a reference to an object using the ID?

In Javascript I can use document.getElementById("elementID") to access the
object.

Is there an equivalent in VB.NET / ASP.NET ?

Thanks in advance

Hi Hellrazor,

Have a look to mshtml which covers this.

http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/de...LDHTMLAPIs.asp

However I do not know how in ASPNET because there I do not use the document
on the serverside but only the controls.

Althoug I think there is a way to do the same things with that. So can you
explain a little bit more what you try to archieve.
