text Color

Hi there
You have seen a progress bar, the kind with the number 100% (in blue text) written in the middle. When the progress reaches where the 100% is written the color of the pecentage changes from Blue to white.
Is there anyway to acheive this same effect for every color
What I have is form that I want the user to be able to change the form's backbround color with the text of all the controls on the form staying still readable
For instance, if the controls text are white and the user changes the form's backcolor to white, the controls textcolor shold be changes to black
I have tried gethue(), getsaturation() and getbrightness(), compareing them each to a middle value, but doing so does not work for all colors
Thanks
