Some questions about eCommerce and ASP.net.

Hello,

in 2 months i will create an eCommerce web site in ASP.net.

I have been creating web sites in Flash, ASP, ASP.net and PHP for quite
sometime.
However i never created an eCommerce web site. So i have a few questions:

1. How an eCommerce web site works? Where can i find some information about
it?
I have some ideas of it but i would like to read something about it...

2. Is there any code, dreamweaver extension or anything else for
eCommerce/ASP.net?

Thank You,
Miguel

Hi Miquel

Have a look at this resource kit with a lot of samples

http://msdn.microsoft.com/asp.net/asprk/
I hope this helps a little bit?

Thanks to you 2.
I am just reading what you sent me.

I also found 2 dreamweaver extensions:

1. Jules ASP.net Cart Extension in
http://www.charon.co.uk/content.aspx?categoryid=21
2. Webxel Cart Extension in
http://www.webxel-dw.co.uk/extensions/Cart_details.html

Which one do you think it's the best one?

And should i use one of these extensions or the IBuySpy Portal Solution Kit?

Thank You,
Miguel
