Exposing and persisting the ListView ColumnHeadersCollection

Hi,

I'm trying to write a custom control that exposes a
ListView.ColumnHeadersCollection, but I'm having problems working with it.

I am able to bring up the column headers collection dialog on my custom
control, and enter data, but when I close and reopen the dialog, all the
columns that I added are gone.

I also tried the following, after InitializeComponent:

m_colHeaders = New ListView.ColumnHeadersCollection(lvwListView)

This should create a new collection, and set it to the collection of headers
on the constituent ListView control on my control. This does work, but as
soon as I run the program that my custom control is on, the headers
collection is zapped, and when I go back in to the Columns property, all the
items that I added are gone.

Can anyone please advise me on the best way to do what I'm trying to do?
