New UI Application Block - No VB Version

What the hell are they thinking? Its of absolutely no use to me since company policy requires VB only. My company only employs 250 developers and buys 100 MSDN Subs each year - but here's a clue for MSFT: If you force us to change languages, the guys who back Java will take over.

I am still not sure why it's a problem that it's actually implemented in
C#.

I'm not sure why a company's policy would preclude the use of a component written in C#. You do not have to code in C# to use it

Is your issue that the stock application block would need to be modified by you in order to be used?

Depends on what you define a "resource kit" to be. Version 1.0 is still
written in Visual Basic .NET, and the QuickStart samples are provided in
both languages. Consequently I don't see any problems in using the code
within a VB.NET project/solution.
