It's the general consensus of many over there that the NG has pretty much
been destroyed. If you remember what IronMan did to scorp a while back,
then you see why he might really like it over there. Last time he started
in here but then moved over to ADO.NET where scorp posted too. So maybe if
we make a few posts over in Smarthphone he'll find his way over there...

I really hope he's not back.

I remember that debacle quite well. the fact that he is asking for help
just amazed me, and then telling Herfried to stay out of it. Wow....

I can see that newsgroup has been destroyed, just a flame war like old
FIDOnet days (who remembers that. =))

I do hope he goes there, I would like to watch some good all out flame wars
(just not here). =)

If he wasn't trying to screw with Scorp he would accept help from anyone, so
obviously it's just another ruse. Scorp handled him quite well, but he
shouldn't have had to go through that in the first place, Scorp is too cool
of a guy and even if he wasn't, no one deserves attacked b/c they post a
tutorial trying to help others.

Smarthpone is destroyed and he'd fit right in.

Hi Bill,

Most of us are glad we are rid of that IAmIronMan discussion, I do not care
for any OT thread I have no problem to be involved in it, however this
subject is not the best for it in my opinion it this newsgroup.

Is this really needed?

read his last post?

Cor:

CJ is referring to IronMan getting rude with Herfried the other day. The
post you reference is me telling Ironman what I think of him. Not sure I
understand the context here?

Who is back? Fergus, IronMan, or Scorp?

Ironman. And last time his trollness spread to the ADO.NET group, then to
personal emails. I think he tried knocking down Scorp's Sql Server when he
made that NG seach tool. He was like 15, did this stuff a lot b/c none of
the kids liked him or couldn't find a girlfriend or listened to Justin
Timberlake music and liked it, I forget the details. Anyway, he got kicked
off of his ISP. It was great. He was tormenting scorp, then scorp warned
him to stop then scorp proved he knew who the kid was and that did it.

I really hope he doesn't come back, and if you read the smartphone NG,
you'll quickly agree that sending him over there is a win/win for everyone.
He'll like it, he'll find someone who'll like him, it'll all be good.

Haven't heard much from Scorp lately though.

Which Fergus? Dan Fergus or Fergus Cooney? Dan was at the Summit but
haven't heard from him since then. I haven't heard or seen anything from
Fergus Cooney since shortly after I started posting to the NG a long time
ago.

Hi Bill,

I asked in this newsgroup (and the dotnet general group) not to react on his
messages.

And before I write something like that, someone should real go to the limit.

And then he sended that message above.

However Armin said too he would not give any reactions to this person
anymore and so we did.
