How do I determine default properties?

I have received the following upgrade warning in several apps
Couldn't resolve default property of object
Click for more: 'ms-help://MS.VSCC.2003/commoner/redir/redirect.htm?keyword="vbup1037"

How do I determine what the default property should be
In particular i need to be able to do it for a script control. I would like to know how to figure it out for all objects

You have to look what the code does in VB6 and translate the code manually.
