Bug in status bar?

P: n/a
Here's an odd one for you... I have a status bar that spans the bottom of a
maxamized window (note the maxamized state) then I have a panel in the MDI
form its in on the left docked to the left of the MDI form and a splitter to
change its size.. now.. the status bar has 4 panels on it and a sizeing grip
(which is still visible when maxamized oddly), now if i grab that grip when
the MDI parent is maxamized, it moves.. but doesnt resize the window, but
the status bar!and also causes the left docked panel to move down to the
bottom of the screen and the status bar to move over and get smaller
according to the place the sizeing grip was dragged to (previously the
resizable panel was resting ontop of the status bar and docked to the left
of the MDI window looks kinda like Outlook does) now the panel goes from top
to bottom of the MDI form and the status bar has changed docking positions
to be to the left of the panel...

why oh why does the status bar resize with the rip when the mdi parent is
maxamized...
