I apologize if my question is too basic. I did a lot of
programming in VB4, and then ignored VB until VB .NET
arrived, and now I'm trying to get up to speed, but
finding it a lot harder than with VB4.
The online docs say that to play a wav file with a Windows
Multimedia Player, you can set the filename property. I
can't find this property, nor can I find examples of how
to do this in the code. There seems to be a huge amount of
material about the WMP, and the searches I've done haven't
gotten me what I need.
Also, is there any favorite document (including online
resources or a book) for how to record and playback sounds
in VB? What I've found is in C#, and I'm not expert enough
to make the transition mentally.
