Vb Setup/Obfuscating questions

I would like to see some discussion on what most small-time shops do for
protecting there code---obfuscating.

I can't afford professional dotfuscator at present, but would like to
obfuscate and protect my work and also to be able to have patches for my app
as needed.

Is this impossible with dotfuscator CE edition?

Also concerning building a VB app in a batch file or whatever so that this
process of obfuscating could be included there.

Any ideas or other products, discussion is welcome.

Thanks,

Shane

Anyone tried the QNDObfuscator by Dan Appleman?

Please tell me. Someone has to have had years of experience with this and I
am a newcomer with a very limited startup budget.
I need economical, simple and good--also to be able to send out obfuscated
patches instead of entire apps.

Thanks,

Shane

Hi SStory,

How can someone give you an advice in this, maybe tomorrow the code will be
broken and then the advice was wrong.

The only thing you can get is an advice from someone who makes this and
gives you a guarantee.

Just my thought,

Cor

Shane,

Since you brought up price....Dotfuscator Professional has an
unadvertised special price for small shops. This will give you all of
the features that you need at a very low price.

Please call or email for a quote.
