Another Data Grid question

Hi Everyone

I posted this question in .Net General too, so please forgive me for posting in two boards, but I saw one reply that indicated I might have better luck finding some help here

Using Visual Basic .Net (2003), I have a data grid on a win form with 7 columns loading very well. The first column is to be a data entry column. The problem I have is when the value in column(0) is changed, I need to perform some calculations and update another of the columns (7 in this case). Can anyone tell me what event I could use to perform this action??

If I use the Lost Focus event, it does not fire unless I move to the second column to the right, then back into the first column - If I move up or down from row to row the Lost Focus never fires. The CurrentCellChanged event appears to fire too often causing degradation in performance since it runs my calc module too often. I may have to put some more checks into this to avoid that, but can anyone help
