'Injecting' a new macro into existing Excel files??

Hi all,

I have a large number of Excel files on my file server that stores schedule
data from several different divisions. They use embedded macros inside the
worksheets that do some date calculations to aid in weeklry reporting, and
we have created a new macro for some new reporting formats requested from
the "higher-ups'.

My question is, can I write a solution in VB.NET that will scan the file
servers for the XLS files I need and programatically 'inject' the new macro
into the file? I know how to attach to and open an Excel file but not sure
how to manage the enbedded VBA structure within .NET.

Any ideas would be GREATLY appreciated.
