Wierd Behavior VB.Net 2002

meh
I have a MDI application with 1 single child. It has been in operation for
a while (almost a year). The other night I was just playing around with
settings (reading a book) and stepped the FormBordorStyle property of my
child form to see what the different styles looked like.
Later I changed it back to its original setting (sizable) and I noticed that
it did not change back. For example when in the design enviroment it looks
like a Win2k tool window square Max,Min buttons etc. but the Main form has
the XP look.
I am running on XP Pro.......
The worst part is that now if I run the app the Main Menu does not work
correctly. With a child form open if I click on a menu the one to the right
opens....now once I move the mouse the correct menu opens???????????

ne1 have any ideas
other than to shoot it and put it out of it's misery (and me too)
tia
