Why I cannot new a Office object from .net?

I installed Visual studia .net 2003, office 2003. When I
go to File|New|Project| I cannot find office projects
there.

im confused as to why you would think there would be office projects
there... to get office projects you have to install office tools for visual
studio.net.. which will cost you about $250
