Inserting unbound columns in a DataGrid

I have a DataGrid which is bound to a dataset. I created a table style
(mapped to a table in a database) and about 20 column styles which are all
mapped to fields in the database. My problem is that I need to add four
columns (which won't be bound to any fields) approximately in the middle of
the 20 original ones. I tried adding four column styles that weren't mapped
to anything, but they didn't show up on the DataGrid.

I'm new to VB .NET and not incredibly familiar with databases (not sure if I
should have even used table styles...), so if someone could help me out, I'd
appreciate it...as a bonus, if someone could tell me how to add a row to the
bottom of the DataGrid, that would be fantastic...Thanks!
