VB.Net Resource Kit Install Error

I downloaded the latest VB.Net Resource Kit from MS. When I try to install
it, I get the following error.....

"unknown error (0x800xcc810) cannot create virtual directory
VB.NETResourceKit" <path>

It doesn't matter what the path is. I've tried using drives C: & D: but
still get the error.

Anyone have an answer or 3?

Thanks

It's because you don't have IIS 5.0+ installed.

Thanks for the info.
I used the instructions found @
<http://msdn.microsoft.com/vbasic/vbrkit/faq/> and after verifying each
step, I still get the "unknown error (0x800xcc810) cannot create virtual
directory VB.NETResourceKit" <path> error. I'm running Win2K with all the
current updates and VB.Net 2003. As an afterthought, I am running VB.Net
2003 Standard. I would not be surprised if this had something to do with it.

I don't think that it's a matter of the version of VB.NET/VS.NET you use.

I just don't know what's causing this, but in the next week or 2 I'm
building a new machine from scratch. Every install will be new so I'll try
again when I'm up and running.
