System Tray

Hi all the helpful people out there! I want to dectect system tray so
that when an icon is added to the tray, it will alert me! Just like the
Printer icon appear with someone prints! Thanks in advance!

I think the printer tray icon appears because Windows schedules a job to a
printer and it automatically sets the tray icon. I don't think there is a
way you can "detect" an icon being added to the tray.

There are no supported APIs for detecting changes to the notification
area.
