Service using redirected drives

I have a service running on Server 2003, which uses an ODBC DSN (some wierd
propreitary driver). The DSN inturn uses a mapped drive load index & table
info. Under 2003, since each account uses a seperate session instance, how
can I make the service read the mapped drive?

I know that this is a "no-no" because services are supposed to use UNCs, but
the ODBC driver won't allow it. We already have a work-around, I am just
curious if it is possible to hack it...

TIA,
Jeremy
