The problem with your message is, that we don't know what kind of collection
you use, there are more than 20 of them (datatable, array,
arraylist.........) you say array, but that is normaly a single dimension
array and when used with more dimension not good occupated for that and
therefore only used in that way in older applications.
When you use the datatabel (or dataset)
You can use a dataview, a select or iterating through your table.
The most simple is the dataview rowfilter

How can you get the child records of a master record and then further
filter the returned array down to more specific records? For instance, I search
the array containing the child records for rows that have a value of
"Today" in the Date column. I then want those identified rows copied to another
array. Thanks for all responses.
