Emailer in VB - Visual Basic .NET

HI,
I am new at VB .NET, I am a web vbscript programmer, I
want to build an emailer that takes the email addresses
from a DB and send them an email, I want to do a window
application to install in the server, but I am not
familiar with Vb so I am a bit in trouble...
I would like you to help me :) pls...
I got few sample of how to connect to a DB, and I think I
can use some free component to send emails, do you know
any...
