vb.net 2002 update errors

Whenever I try to check for update to vb.net 2002 I get the folowing
error....
"visual studio .net setup encountered errors while attempting to download
required files. Check your web browser ............"

When I click on the OK button it then tells me that there are no updates
available.

Any thoughts out there?

Thanks
