Encoding in mail address

Hi!

I'm using .net's Web.Mail.SmtpMail class to send emails. My problem is
that I can't use email addresses that contains the æ, ø and å. Does
anyone know how I can set the encoding to make this possible?

I never saw an email address containing these characters...

They're legal in .nu domain names, for example...
