Trouble accessing a Web Service

I get an error whenever I try to call my web service from a VB.Net Console
application.

The request failed with HTTP status 401: Unauthorized.

Can anybody help me? Thanks

Had to set the credentials in order for the call to work.
Dim myService As New WebService.WebService1
Dim defaultcredentials As System.Net.CredentialCache

myService.Credentials = defaultcredentials.DefaultCredentials

myService.service1(xx,xx)
